Yes. Continuem is GDPR compliant and ICO registered. Client data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS). Only you and your clients can access your practice data — nothing is shared with third parties or used for any marketing purpose.
Is Continuem HIPAA compliant?
Continuem follows security practices aligned with HIPAA principles: client data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS), access is strictly account-controlled, and client information is never shared with third parties. It is not independently certified as HIPAA compliant and is not a medical-records platform. HIPAA applies to covered entities in the US healthcare system. If you are a US-based practitioner with obligations under HIPAA, you remain responsible for ensuring your use of any platform meets your specific legal requirements.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes, all plans include a branded portal address in the format yourpractice.continuem.app. You can also connect your own custom domain.
